Smart Grid Design

“Smart Grid Design” can encompass anything from a focused pilot that measures effectiveness of a single technology to the end-to-end transformation of a utility’s entire electric distribution system. Utilities have the justifiable expectation that Smart Grid investments will yield additional benefits - ones that can be appreciated through the operation of their distribution system, including those that extend to the other stakeholders involved in their electricity distribution. Whether small or large, Smart Grid projects should be implements so that they can play some meaningful part in an innovative, connected, integrated and sustainable energy future. The extent of this role typically varies with the size and scope of the project – the key is that the investment can be incorporated effectively into the greater whole without negatively impacting focus and intent.

To accomplish this objective, meaningful Smart Grid design must draw from critical aspects across energy delivery infrastructure, operations and stakeholder landscapes. Dynamic Energy Group has the skill sets and experience to do just that; and our planning and strategic expertise can effectively bridge these current landscapes into a cohesive, forward-looking design. Our track record demonstrates the consistent ability to integrate current outcome objectives with future growth requirements and optimization opportunities.
